ScanImage 5 supports the CRS Resonant Scanner system from Cambridge Technology. SI5 will support both 'classic' and newer versions of the CRS scanners. The 'new' CRS scanner systems reportedly provides, per manufacturer, improved synchronization and are optimized design for use at maximal scan angles. Vidrio engineers will test new scanner systems before April 1, 2014. Prospective ScanImage 5 users may elect to wait until this Vidrio assessment is completed before purchasing a scanner system. |
