Cambridge Technology is recently offering a new CRS Resonant Scanner Driver board. This offers improved synhronization and is optimized for use with the maximal angle versions of their CRS scanner products. Vidrio engineers have ordered this scanner and will test this new scanner system before April 1, 2014. (System 6SC08KA012-02Y with new 711-80159) Prospective ScanImage 5 users are advised to wait for this testing before committing to a scanner hardware purchase. ScanImage 5 is expected to work with classic CRS scanner systems, but potentially with small additional electronics or reduced scan angle. |
