ScanImage 3.5.1 is a reorganized version of ScanImage 3.5(.0). The directory and configuration reorganization is designed to allow a smoother upgrade to 3.6.x, including the use of the same INI file for both versions.

ENHANCEMENTS

• A new 'triggerTime' header field is available that more accurately records the trigger time than the previous 'dioTriggerTime' field (which has been renamed to 'softTriggerTime')
• The Spine Analysis software used in work such as Holtmaat et al is made available as part of the ScanImage release as scim_spineAnalysis()

BUGFIXES

• R2008b compatibility improvement: superfluous warning message eliminated
• The merge figure window is no longer transposed relative to other image figures upon being reset/created
• The trigger time recorded in the header no longer pertains to previous image acquisition
• Ensure that 'safe' hot key setting for fast configs is actually honored
• Ensure that current configuration is saved correctly with the USR file (BUG 5375731 reported by Spencer Smith)
• GUI handling is now correct when focus is ended without an ABORT
• All header fields designated in INI file are now programatically marshalled for saving upon calling updateHeaderForAcquisition.m
