Program for assigning pulses to stimulator channels and setting related parameters.
File>Open
Select the desired pulse directory this way.
Start
Start/stop stimulator channel(s).
External
Activate external triggering for this program.
Trace length
Duration of the stimulus, in seconds.
Channels
List of all available channels, as specified/configured in the Ephus start file.
Acq On
Check/uncheck to include/exclude the currently selected channel in the acquisition.
DA,DO
The stimulator controls analog (DA) and digital (DO) pulses. There are some important differences in how these channels and their pulses are treated. In general, the user needs to be aware of the type of channel she is dealing with.
DO channels
The pulses for all DO channels are stored in one array and they are therefore fundamentally linked. Turning off one DO channel will turn all DO channel off. To turn off one DO channel you need to replace the pulse from the pulselist with an appropriate dummy pulse (i.e. typically all 0's).
