(SI 4) Troubleshooting

Scanner runs and frames are received by ScanImage 4, but Y mirror does not scan.

Thor ECU not correctly receiving line trigger signal from Alazar card. Check line trigger connections.

SI4 reports 'Failed to Get First Frame Clock Time', or similar message, on Grab or externally triggered acquisitions.

SI4 DAQ board(s) are not correctly receiving the frame clock signal (on PFI line specified in the MDF file) from the Thor ECU. Check this connection(s).

SI4 message that # of frame triggers exceeds (by nearly/exactly 2x) the number of acquired frames

Frame clock signal is being reflected between Thor ECU and SI4 DAQ board(s). Try a shorter or better wire.

May need to consider impedance matching issues to handle cases where Frame Trigger signal is teed one or more times.

Image appears to drift or jump.

Thor LSM object is not configured to use external clock. Update ThorLSM.xml file to clockSource=1 and ensure laser clock is connected to Alazar board.

This complete failure only appears with API 1.2/4-chan Alazar board (64-bit configuration).

Cryptics error about 'char*' and fnCall on LSM initialization

No board 'Dev1' can be found

First Focus starts, but subsequent acquisitions fail.

Thor LSM object is configured for external clock, but no clock signal

This behavior seems specific to API 1.1/2-chan Alazar board (32-bit configuration).
