ScanImage requires that users create an initialization (.INI) file which contains configuration information. This file contains information which does not require adjustment during program operation. In most cases only one INI file need be created & maintained for each 'rig' employing ScanImage.
ScanImage 3.5 slightly changed the mechanics of how the INI file is loaded. Please see Initialization (INI) File Handling for more details.
