Problem: Ephus fails to launch correctly, with an error message to the effect of "Invalid MEX-file".
Solution: The most likely problem is that Glib was not properly installed. Note that it is not sufficient simply to unzip the contents of the GTK or Glib binaries into a Program Files folder (or the like); it is necessary to run the installation program, e.g. gtk-2.10.11-win32-1.exe.
Problem: Ephus fails to launch correctly, giving an error to the effect of "program already loaded".
Solution: Most likely this is due to using a pre-alpha-07 version of Ephus. In later versions some programs launch other programs. Simply comment out the re-launched programs in the ephus start file.
Problem: Ephus doesn't seem to be communicating correctly with the Multiclamp; electrophysiology responses show incorrect scaling and/or polarity, etc.
Solution: You may have forgotten to run the MCTeleClient, which links Ephus and Multiclamp.
Problem: GUIs not displaying correctly; upper part of GUIs 'cut off'.
Solution: This problem can occur when using 2 monitors, in which case the settings in the graphic cards Control Panel have to be set to "Use extended desktop".
