  1. Does res scanner supposed to scan when powered up without disable signals connected, or is the disable signal pulled down?- I'm trying to see if everything is working as expected, maybe look at the sync signal, but I've only driver assembled, not yet a computer/NI hardware. Thanks, N

    1. Only the ‘Amplitude’ signal needs to be provided, 0..5 VDC, for the resonant mirror to move. No need to connect anything to the 'Disable' input .

    We don't need to do anything with the heat sink that came with the resonant scanner do we?

    1. Correct, no need to do anything with the heat sink included with your CRS purchase. The enclosure for the CRS driver board serves as a heat sink. Do not forget to include the thermal pad when attaching the CRS driver board to the enclosure.
