Mount the galvo block, pushing it against pins. Note there is not a lot of space between the galvo mirrors and pupil relay 3

Attached Attach pupil relay 2 mount to the resonant chamberbreadboard

Use long handle quarter-20 hex drive to mount resonant chamber to breadboard. Use paper trick to get screw sitting on ball end of hex drive, and then screw chamber down.  Take extra care to ensure that resonant chamber touches all three alignment pins. Check for clearance between chamber and pins using a thin (~0.001") piece of plastic (purpose-made shim stock is available, although candy wrappers, etc. can be used).
Note that PupilRelay1 and PupilRelay2 are not attached (this has been changed from previous procedure), to allow for checking/adjusting resonant mirror angle alignment.

Attach PMT assembly, with PMT cover on. Have to thread cables through cover. Screw on filters to PMT assembly.

Attach periscope

PupilRelay1 and PupilRelay2 will be attached after aligning beam through remote focus objective and using the beam to align the resonant mirror angle.  To attach them, remove the resonant chamber, attach pupil relays 1&2, LOOSEN THE SCREWS on the pupil relay 1 and 2 v-block end mounts (the ones that attach them to the vertical breadboard), then remount the resonant mirror chamber and pupil relays together.  Again, take extra care to check that the resonant mirror chamber is contacting the alignment pins, checking clearance using a thin shim. Tighten the screws on the pupil relay 1 and 2 v-block end mounts.  Add caps to the pupil relay v-block mounts.
