Scan Angular Range

ScanImage determines the scan angular range to command by:

  1. Multiplying the values in the INI File by the respective values on the Main Controls panel
  2. Dividing both by the currently configured factor, also on the Main Controls panel

Scan Command Amplitude

ScanImage then converts the scan angular range to volts, using the value in the INI File. This comprises the angular range displayed in the image figures and saved to data files.

Finally, the (larger) scan command amplitude/waveform is determined based on the current and values in the Configuration panel.
