No selection dialog appears on startup
The startup selection dialog 
which appeared on startup in ScanImage 3.0 is no longer active by default. If the user desires to reinstate this dialog, the file scim_startup.m located in the ScanImage\user_tools directory, should be copied to, or invoked from, the startup.m file for a given Matlab installation (located at <MATLABROOT>\toolbox\local).
